The end of a dream

So we lost. It´s over. A whole country lost it´s hope. A whole country lost it´s illusion. A whole country lost it´s dream. To be fairplay I have to admit that we played crap, the Italians were better and I wondered, why they didn´t get it in earlier. Two minutes. Two freaking minutes and it was over. :-(
Third time we lose against them in a World Cup. Like France is Brazil´s, Italy is our "bête noire". Sigh.
At least I hope the French will make it tonight. What a nightmare if the Final was Portugal - Italy. I couldn´t support neither of them, they both kicked my favorit teams (Germany and England) out, and I never was quite into the "Drama Queen" Football anyway.
At least the weather in Zurich suits the mood... Cloudy and looking rainy.
Heading to Berlin in one hour. Thought, I would be more cheerful...
Let´s hope for the French... ALLEZ LES BLEUS!!!!

Julia, I suffered along with Anna, Björn and Lisa last night :-( But in the end, the Mannschaft (:-)) can be proud of themselves. It was great soccer last night! And come on, they made those two goals in the very last two minutes of the prolongation!! So if you look at it this way, both teams were VERY neutral during the regular playing team. Italy just had more zest and probably endurance in the end :-) And well, the goals were quite amazing....:-s It's all good. Hope isn't lost for Germany just because of soccer! Germany has showed the WHOLE world what a great host country they were, and no matter what, I think they've managed to change their image :-) Be happy Julia sweetie... :-D

Have fun in Berlin!!!! And say hi to Eric sweetie for me! Are you really staying at his place? :-)

Gros gros bious, and thanks for your SMS, I appreciate it a lot :-)

Mwah!
